It’s that time of year again. It’s time to give thanks. To change things up a bit, I wanted to thank you on behalf of Simply great Lives. I’m grateful for all the people who read this blog. I’m thankful that you are willing to explore the ideas we express here. And I’m glad you are wanting more for yourself in life and to be more in the lives of other people.
Thanks for reading this blog because it gives us an extremely valuable place to process new ideas. It helps us clarify our thinking and refine our process. Actually, we’re very much taking you along with us on the journey of creating more significance. In working through these things in our blog, we are more effective as public speakers–as messengers–and as coaches. We are always learning and growing and we are blessed to share what we can of that journey with you via our blog.
Just this year, I’ve shared with you my growth in these areas,:
- my passion of making people aware of their impact
- how important it is to get in touch with one’s passion to fuel the desired impact
- more clearly expressing my message
- working through tough choices (remember when I let go of my guide dog)
- dealing with more vision loss, but still moving forward, because we all experience detours and traffic jams on this journey!
Of course, we hope that it all rubs off on you. We hope you are seeking to integrate what we teach here to increase your positive impact. Just remember that it’s always a journey. We must keep learning and growing. Some people say that if you’re not growing, you’re dying.
I also wanted to say thanks to the people who’ve talked with me about their desired impact and actually explored it with me. We love doing these “Discovery Sessions” and we truly are blessed as we help people uncover their passions and explore what positive impact they might want to have with their lives. If you’d like to have this level of conversation with us, click here to schedule your own Discovery Session.
There’s one more aspect of gratitude I want you to consider. Who else, in addition to me, is giving thanks for you? Who’s life have you touched in such a meaningful and positive way that they would be truly thankful for you and your contribution to their life? These are important questions to consider. If you’re not happy with your answer, I hope you are spurred on to action. If you are happy with your answer, keep doing more of it and see how you can be even more effective.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
