Do you ever wonder if your life is having the kind of impact you wanted to have? Are you affecting the people closest to you the way you want to? Are you influencing people in a way that you’re passionate about?
I am really passionate about people being aware of how they are impacting other people. There’s a really good reason why I came to be so passionate about it. I experienced some abuse as a child. The effects of that abuse have stayed with me long into my adulthood.
I found myself asking how my abuser could deliberately cause so much pain. I came to the conclusion that he was not trying to hurt me on purpose and certainly was not trying to hurt me for years to come. Like so many people, he was doing the best he could with what he had at the time. You may not have experienced abuses a child. However, I am willing to bet you have been hurt by somebody at some point in your life. Most likely, that person did not set out to cause you harm. He or she may have been trying to get some want or need met and caused you pain as a side effect. He or she may have been distracted or overwhelmed or unable to cope. These things happen all the time, people having a negative impact on other people that’s on accident.
It makes sense when you think about it. We are impacting people all the time, whether we are trying to or not. We impact people by what we say or what we don’t say, what we do or what we don’t do, even by the way that we show up or by the way we don’t show up. We are impacting people all the time.
Because of my passion to make people aware of how they are impacting other people, I created the Life’s Impact Assessment. When you take the assessment, you will automatically be sent a report that includes:
- A score that represents the impact you are likely having with your life right now
- Areas in which you are already doing well
- Areas where you could use some improvement
There’s also a link you can click to schedule a no-cost Discovery Session with me or John. We will go over your report with you and help you get clear on where you’re at and on where you want to go. Once you know where you are, you can make a plan to get where you want to go. I believe you want to have a positive impact with your life.
Click here to take the Life’s Impact Assessment. It takes just 5 or 10 minutes. It may very well be the first and most important step in increasing your life’s positive impact.
