If you never existed, surely some things would be different. The impact you’ve made so far would disappear. Let’s consider what would be different if you never existed. It’s a means to help understand your life’s impact.
I got this idea from a book I am reading for fun, from the series, “The Sword of Truth.” A spell was released that eliminated people’s memories of a certain woman. Even the small ways that she helped people to improve themselves, to become better people, disappeared. It really got me thinking.
So I created a list of areas to consider where you may have impacted people.

- Support
- Encourage
- Empower
- Equip
- Provide accountability
- Love
- Challenge
- Champion
- Advocate on behalf of
- Provide opportunities
- Influence policies
- Assist
This list is by no means complete. It’s just a sampling of some of the positive impact we can have with our lives.
Can you imagine what it would be like if you never existed? Which of the things in the above list would never have happened? Whose lives would be unmistakably different?

To be clear, you will not want to reach the end of your life and realize it was as though you’d never existed.
Bogus. I do not affect anyone’s life in any way other than negative. Say i didn’t exist, my parents would have alot more money (not wasted 18 years raising a failure/disappointment). They Wouldn’t have the stress and embarrassment of such offspring. I am nothing but a burden on people. I have no drive, ambition, no goals, everything seems way to hard, time consuming and just not worth dealing with for what little reward you get. So if i did not exist, everyone i know lives would most likely be better since they would not have had any of the negative… Read more »
