While these activities are great, there’s something else you need to know. Activities are necessary but not sufficient. Results are key.
Hopefully these activities lead to a result. We need to be clear on the result we want to produce, the change in people’s lives. Then we can adjust the activity until we get the desired result.
Too often we focus on the activity and we are either unclear on the results we want to create or we don’t track the results to see if we really are bringing about the desired change.
Like Stephen Covey says, “Begin with the end in mind.”
What “end” do you want to create? We encourage you to get super-clear on the result you want. Otherwise your activities may or may not bring the change you want.
