Important stuff: have you done this before?
You stop by the store to pick up one item. You put 10 things in your cart and check out. Then, as you’re pulling out of the parking lot, you remember you forgot the milk. It was the one thing you stopped to get and you forgot it!
John and I are passionate about reminding people whats really important in life. John had an experience like the grocery store incident I just described, but on a much grander scale. (Click here to read his story.)
At one point during his heart attack, John realized something was really wrong. He thought perhaps he had reached the end of his life. He had a big “Uh oh!” moment but it wasn’t about the milk. In an instant, the things he was supposed to have done in life became crystal clear. He found himself asking, “Did I love people well? Did my life matter?”
We really want people to ask themselves these questions now. We want people to consider these questions BEFORE they are at the end of their lives when it is too late to do anything different.
As you read or listen to this message now, take time to ask for yourself, “Have I loved people well? Has my life mattered?” Please don’t wait, but make it a priority to find and live your calling now.
