I’m trying something new. Obviously, when I ask, “are you a pyromaniac,” I don’t mean this in a literal sense. Now go ahead and play the song again. Read the lyrics again. And while you’re doing this, imagine that these words are being said about you. Replace the name ‘Amy’ with your name.
This might look a little silly, corny even. But really imagine that you have lived your stay here on the earth in such a way that someone felt compelled to say these things about you and your life. Wow! I don’t know about you, but that’s how I want to live my life.
If you need to, play the song again, and really take in what is being said. Take in these lyrics into your life.
It is possible to live this way. The key is in finding out what “fire” you want to start and spread. What do you want to ignite into the world? Whatever this is – this light you want to spread that is worth using all of your strength and abilities is your calling.
Once, you’ve discovered what this is for you, the decision remains, will you run after it or not?
